Service Provider and Nature of Service

The website operator and service provider is Ing. Irena Valentová, Reg. No. (IČO): 44195214, with registered office at Josefy Faimonové 2238/24, Líšeň, 628 00 Brno, Czech Republic. Self-employed person registered in the Czech Trade Register kept by the Brno City Municipality. Not registered for VAT. Contact email: irena@palmovelistybrno.cz, phone: +420 724 547 205.

The provider arranges palm leaf searches and readings from traditional palm leaf libraries in India, including consultation and translation services. The service is intended for personal development, self-reflection, and philosophical insight. It does not replace professional medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice and care.

Order and Formation of Contract

By submitting the form on the order page, the client places a binding order for leaf searching and reading mediation. The contract is concluded in English or Czech. The provider will promptly confirm the order and arrange the reading date with the client.

Leaf Search, Cancellation Policy and Unfound Leaves

Upon receiving the thumbprint scan, the provider immediately initiates the leaf search process in partner libraries in India. By submitting the order, the client explicitly requests this service to begin immediately.

• Order Cancellation by Client: If the client cancels the order after submission prior to the reading date, a cancellation fee of 20 EUR (500 CZK) applies to cover necessary search costs already incurred in India.
• Palm Leaf Not Found: If the client attends the reading and their palm leaf cannot be located in the libraries, the client pays nothing. Any advance payment made will be fully refunded within 14 days.

Pricing, Payment and Right of Withdrawal

The price for a complete reading session is 220 EUR for international clients (or 5,000 CZK for Czech clients). The provider is not registered for VAT.

Under EU consumer law, consumers generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal. Because the search begins immediately upon the consumer's request, in case of withdrawal prior to the reading session, the consumer is required to pay proportionate costs for work already performed (a flat rate of 20 EUR for the leaf search). Once the reading session is fully provided, the right of withdrawal is waived.

Complaints and Warranty

The provider is responsible for delivering the mediation and translation services in accordance with the agreement. Inquiries or complaints may be submitted to irena@palmovelistybrno.cz and will be resolved within 30 days.

Out-of-Court Dispute Resolution

For consumer dispute resolution, consumers may contact the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (ČOI), Central Inspectorate – ADR Department, Štěpánská 567/15, 120 00 Prague 2, Czech Republic. Website: www.coi.cz/en/.

Final Provisions

Searching for a leaf requires sharing necessary identification data (thumbprint scan) with partner libraries in India. For details, refer to our Privacy Policy. All contractual relations are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic.
